Experienced Interior Designer
We are a family-owned eighty plus person residential design-build firm that for over twenty years has specialized in high quality custom remodels. This is a full-time position with PTO accruing immediately, and full health/dental/long-term disability/401(k) after sixty days. We pay hourly and respect the forty hour week – all hours over forty result in overtime pay. Wage will be commensurate with experience.
We require five to seven years’ experience in residential design, or comparable experience in a commercial, construction or retail setting. Applicant must have four or more years of design education and have worked in an environment requiring one on one client interaction. The ideal applicant has some experience in AutoCAD, is proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office and has experience sourcing interiors furnishings and ordering custom furniture/upholstery. In addition, the applicant will exhibit the ability to multi-task, problem solve and manage 5+ projects at one time while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Ability to project hours and hit target dates is a must. We work almost exclusively for homeowners and we hit our deadlines.

We are looking for remodeling carpenters and creative problem solvers. Framing experience is a plus. We are not currently seeking any Project Managers or Superintendents. All of our open positions are “bags-on” positions. This is a carpentry job – no project management or superintendent applicants please. We advertise separately for those positions.

Human Resources Administrator
Responsibilities: This role will directly support our Business Manager with all things that fall under Human Resources. Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to) managing our new HR information system (Bamboo), tracking all employee benefit details, help with on-boarding and off boarding tasks, training verification tracking, help with annual benefit renewal negotiations, etc.
We Seek: We prefer a candidate with experience but may consider someone with administrative experience from a different background. Candidate must be very organized and a self-starter. This person has the ability to stay on top of deadlines and keep our employee files up to date and organized. Depending on experience the candidate will have some employee interaction, but mainly this role is clerical in nature to start.
