Gratitude
As 2021 comes to an end and we reflect on what a crazy year and a half it has been, we can’t help but feel incredibly thankful for what we have. In such uncertain, and often scary times, JAS has been able to work at an amazing pace in a unprecedented home construction climate. Our employees, our subs, our suppliers, and our clients, have had to adjust to this new normal. We have had to dig deep and work longer hours, find patience for supplies, change the way we communicate with our clients on a screen versus in person. We have adjusted some of our tried-and-true processes to meet the increased demand for our services. And somehow working all together we ended up having a pretty good year. Yes, we are tired, yes, we all need a break, but we feel very fortunate to be where we are at.
To our clients – thank you for your continued confidence in us, in your patience working through delays and things that are out of our control. Thank you for helping keep our staff safe and abiding by our COVID protocols.
To our subcontractors and partners – we couldn’t have survived this year without you. Thank you for showing up and delivering the quality you promise every day. We do not take you for granted.
To our employees – thank you all for working through another year of difficult challenges and for continuing to develop beautiful projects in a safe, creative, and efficient manner. We continue to be impressed with how everyone has continued to adapt to the pressures and maintain our high standards of process and product all the while being respectful of each other and those we work with and for.
We are hopeful in 2022 that we can return our work life back to pre-COVID times, have the offices bustling again, have in-person meetings, host our client in house, and in general just see everyone’s smiling faces on a regular basis. 2022 marks our 30th year in the design/build business and we can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with all of you.
We hope all of you will take some time off in the coming weeks and recharge. . . go skiing, watch the new Beatles documentary, sleep, watch more of the Beatles documentary, eat pie, or simply cheer on the Kraken.
Take care and Happy Holidays.
