Lead Carpenter – Seattle

We'd love to talk to anyone with remodeling skills.

We’d love to talk to anyone with remodeling skills. Frame or finish skills a big plus, but if you have a minimum of 5 years of experience let’s talk. Are you tired of doing production work?

JAS Design-Build, Inc., a mid-sized Design-Build firm in North Seattle, is seeking an experienced Carpenter for residential remodeling. Almost all of our work is custom residential. Please check out our portfolio to see the kinds of work we do.

We are: A 32 year old family owned Design-Build company with ninety plus employees and a strong desire to build beautiful projects. We run clean, safe, efficient job sites and we make friends with the neighbors while we are doing it.

We are looking for an expert trim carpenter who can perform trim details like you see in our portfolio. Can you build custom doors, run crown moulding, trim stairs, install custom cabinets to exacting standards? Ready to try your hand with a company that cares as much about the quality of finished product as how many feet you can install in a day?

The lead site carpenter position at JAS is a well supported one. As a lead,  you will have a designated in-house supervisor,  project manager, architect/designer and interior designer all assigned to each project we build.  They are all there to assist you and the build team move the project forward efficiently and effectively.  You will not be left on site with inadequate support to meet your schedules and budgets.  Nor will you be asked to run multiple jobs at one time.

We offer: A competitive wage ($30-$45 depending on experience), a fantastic community-oriented and positive work environment as well as a consistently reliable amount of steady work. Paid time off begins accruing immediately. After probationary period you will be eligible for our excellent health/dental/rx plan/vision, long-term disability, EAP, paid holidays, PTO, and access to our 401k plan.
