JAS & SAS Collaboration
The JAS Corner Store has been partnering with Seattle Art Source (SAS) to co-curate art exhibitions three to four times a year in the store. SAS is a woman-owned and operated company that connects local artists to architects, designers, and homeowners in Seattle. This partnership intends to further engage our communities with local artists, businesses, and craftsmen.
SAS was founded in 2017 by Sarah Hurt. Sarah’s passion for connecting people with art sparked from her experience curating art shows in Seattle’s International District.
Sarah recognized that the path to finding and purchasing local art is not always easy to navigate and made it her mission to connect local artists with interested buyers.
SAS is an art advisory firm rooted in the Northwest and reaching clients worldwide. Managing a roster of 40+ artists, SAS works with private clients, interior designers, and developers to source the right art for a wide variety of projects.
Below are works by two artists who we hosted in the Corner Store earlier this year.

Zachary Schomburg
Picture SAS as modern-day art matchmakers. They locate your perfect art pairing for you, making the process of choosing and buying art as straightforward as possible while also supporting the local arts community.

JAS strongly connects with SAS’s mission to broaden the local art community and create connections between small business owners, artists and homeowners. We are thrilled to provide space for our friends, family and clients to commingle over our shared appreciation of local craftspeople.
By joining forces with SAS, the JAS Corner Store hopes to provide space for our two communities of art lovers to join forces. We are thrilled to partner with SAS to introduce you to some of our favorite local artists and showcase them in our network. We are getting ready to host our Spring Art Reception this coming Saturday May 18th from 3pm – 6pm. Stop by and help us celebrate these talented artists.
